Vicente is crawling...

Well he prefers to just drag his body around but he has been seen actually crwaling while using hands and knees. His new trick is pulling himself up and then wibbles, wobbles histerically! see for yourself...

Still sleep Deprived!

Even after 5 months but the good news is that I am used to it now! So much has happened these past months and I need to write the important stuff but I´m too tired now! Just thought I would let you all know that this blog will survive and be active again. Thank you for your messages - amazing how many people actualy read what I write! Hope you like the recent pics of the boys. Will be back soon with more news, this was just a teaser...

Sleep Deprived

I no longer know what to do. I have had it - am at my wits end. Vicente is still sick. Fortunately without a fever but fluids keep coming out (or at least trying to) of his nose and mouth. I haven´t had a decent nights sleep for the last 30 days now. Vicente has been waking up 5 to 8 times per night just screaming. I still can´t figure out what is wrong with him. He will eventualy fall back to sleep but this will last for an hour or so. We have been in contact with the Ped who took things very lightly since he is fever free and has no symptoms of anything serious. I really need to figure out what this screaming is about before I totally loose it. He still has breathing issues but hasn´t needed any extra oxygen to help him out. It is extremly cold for Portugal so he hasn´t been outside for more than a month now. Maybe he is just bored - I would be! LOL.

Kiko has also been waking up now about 3 times a night. Becoming a big boy hasn´t been easy for him. He is binky free and has been so for the last 8 days now but I am sure he needs it to help him fall back to sleep. He hasn´t asked for it but just doesn´t seem to find confort atx night so he comes to me as many times necessary.

Thus the reason for my lack of news.

Family Wii Play

So we bought a Wii for the family. All I can stay is we haven´t stopped playing with it for the past week or so. What a fabolous family activity game. Wii Fit and Wii Sport are a big hit. António is a Boxing and golf Pro. Everyone and I mean everyone was trying to beat him but with no luck. You can see how frsutrating it was for some grown ups with childish behaviours LOL!

Christmas Evening

Christmas Eve Dinner was at our place, as usual. The table looked lovely and the whole family had a wonderful time. Opening presents had to happen before dinner for obvious reasons. Kiko was thrilled with his new toy that Rosária gave him. He´s been fixing our floors ever since. The Lopes Vieira´s were greatly missed but I guess we will have a turkey day in February to make up for Christmas.

António - End of 1st Term

António had his school Christmas Party on the 20th of December. There was singing, laying and multiple activities. He was very proud to show us his work. This term they did an extensive research on dinosaurs. He is still very academic orientated. He favorite activities include reading, letter and number games. He now knows all the letters of the alphabet and can even read some things. He knows all numbers up to 100 and can play with them nonstop. We are very proud of him.
